Delete SIP Settings

2 replies · 6,281 views · Started 04 September 2006

Like so many others, I tried setting up SIP Settings convinced the N80 should be able to do VOIP out of the box.

Now I've done it, hasn't worked, but I can't delete them, or edit them, or add any more!

Im going to Tools > Settings > Connection > SIP Settings

(now my phone just crashed on me)

But I've Tried Options > Delete > Do you want to Delete? Yes! Doesn't delete.

Options > Edit

Nothing

Options > Add New > Use Default Profile

nothing

Options > Add New> Use and Existing Profile

crashes back to tools menu

Nokia N80 (31.01)

Any Thoughts?

Simon

While setting up SIP (for the same reason, I might add) that happend to me too but I solved it by just resetting the phone.

As you're on the older firmware have you considered getting it flashed to a newer version? I can delete SIP settings fine on v4, but as well as that you'll probably find that the settings will be wiped in the upgrade anyway
