i dont know any professional appl to reduce size of video files. i usually do it with my video converter. i can cut 3/4 off with lowest bit rate. (32 kbps) . i use xilisoft video converter 3.1. u may have a try.

Thats the way to reduce... low resolution, few fps, less detail!
