HEADLINES TRACKER FOR MOBILE
Put the latest news at your fingertips with the BBC News Headlines Tracker for mobile.
The Headlines Tracker gives you quick and easy access to the latest from the BBC News website.
The application will grab the headlines for you, either on-demand or automatically (depending on the capabilities of your device) meaning you're never out of touch with the major national and international stories.
To get the headlines tracker send a text to 88822 and start the message with the word HEADLINES. We will send you back a link which you can use to download the application.
The link takes you to download the Mobizines application - more info at http://www.mobizines.com/
You can download 'mobizines' from ITN, BBC news, Maxim, GQ Magazine, Pocket-lint, and TV Genius.
It works fine on my Nokia N80
yup, brilliant app, really shows the right direction in which the use of mobile content should go. The sms installation didn't work for me either, but I just downloaded the .sis file somewhere, don't remember where though.

Well, if I can get the UK version, you might be able to get the SA one as well... I think it depends on what version of the software you have, since I can't add any other channels than the UK ones. You'll need to get a hold of an SA version of the .sis file...
I checked out the SA site and it seems there's no proper news service, and I'm afraid that when I install the SA version it'll overwrite my UK one and I lose BBC news' services. Which I don't want to lose. So I'll stick with the UK one.
I would use the BBC news feed in Opera
