Voice tags

Hello all,

How do you add voice tags to contacts on an N80 once you have disabled the inbuilt synthesizer? I read that the phone statrts to recognise the main users voice. How does it do this? I can't find anywhere to speak the name of a contact.

Andy

The n80 has 'speaker-independent' tagging, IOW it'll recognise the contact name regardless of your accent - so you don't have to record it.
Just say the name of the contact (as it's entered in the phone) and it'll dial up for you.
It's really designed for BT headset use - and using the phone mic, totally sucks ... won't recognise anything.
So get your headset on and say the contact name - it works a treat, even with monster background noise.
Try it, you'll be impressed.

Well the timings good 'cos I'm off home in the car now. 😊

I'll try it and let you know.

Thanks

Andy
