Browser Shortcuts gone in new firmware (E61)

I just upgraded to the 2.x firmware, and to my horror, found that the shortcuts for Bookmarks (1), Search (2), Zoom in (*) and Zoom Out (#) in the browser are all GONE !

I can't find a setting to re-enable them.

Can anyone please check this on their upgraded E61 and report back.

If true, that will be a major feed-back to Nokia 😡

UpdateIf I Press and Hold (!) the Blue Arrow key, I can activate the shortcuts - and use Calcium etc. Pressing and releasing Blue Arrow - like when you want to enter a letter in a SMS does NOT work for shortcuts or Calcium.

Michael

How did you upgrade to the new firmware?......I thought it wasn't available for the E61 yet.

I used local Nokia Service Center in Copenhagen, Denmark

I just found, that Calcium won't accept any numbers anymore after upgrading. Pressing a number key produces a 'beep' but no number on the screen..

Both issues are related. With the new firmware, you now have to hold down the blue shortcut key when trying to access the * and # symbols to zoom in and out while browsing the web.

Likewise, Calcium will work if you enter the numbers with the use of the blue shortcut key - it's something the Calcium developers will have to address.

EDIT: Oops, my bad, I didn't see the updated first post.
