Nokia 9500 I think I killed it

I opened my 9500 to fit a new mic, as the old one for some reason had a pin break off. but now reassembled. The screen comes on white. says "nokia" for a few seconds. Then the screen goes white and stays white and stays like that for hours. Has anyone got any suggestions? I have taken it to pieces to check connections and such and ill is well.

Any help appriciated. thanks

Take the device to a Nokia Service.

I presume that will cost more than the phone to do that

Ask first! They usually do a budget of sevice first.
