Hey guys. I have a slight problem with my phone. Whenever I try to type a text or search in the phonebook etc. only numbers will type and I dont have the little icon to tell me what format im using i.e. predictive etc.
I cant change it either and I do not know how to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas?
I think I might have accidently deleted something I shouldn't have.

Try a phone reset to factory settings: *#7780#. Do a backup first, just in case:icon4:

I just updated my PC Suite Software to the newest version and it will not detect my phone. The PC Suite that came with the phone worked fine. I have un-installed it and re-installed it but the problem still persists.
I will install the old version and see if it will detect my phone and will report back and say if it works. 😊
Uninstall all. With a Regclean, delete all entries related with PCSuite. Reboot. After that, install the last version of PCSuite again. Should work.
I have got the software working again. Thanks. I have made a total backup manually and also using the Nokia Content Copier program. Hopefully that should be enough.
I now have a problem with the phone. When I try to enter the lock code so the phone will re-format. It says I have entered the wrong code even when it is the right one.
Any ideas?

You only have 3 attempts to introduce a code, after that, the phone locks, and onle the Nokia Service can unlock the device. It�s strange but could lock Your device.
I got 5 trys. Then it said that it will unlock so I can try again in 5 mins. Thats strange to me.
I restored a back-up from around 3-4 months ago and my phone worked perfectly after that so I am happy again. 😊

So u got ur phone unlocked again after restoring a backup?
My phone has not been unlocked. I just restored an old back-up which fixed my problem with typing.
