Removing N73 Fascia

Hi All.

Does anyone know how to remove the front fascia/cover of the Nokia N73, any info regarding this available?.

The front cover (the silver bit) is held on by a few clips, which can be removed (but you'll need special case removal tools to do it)

There is a clip at the bottom of the case, then three up each side (one around where the 7 / 9 keys are, one roughly in the middle of the handset and one close to the IR port (same on the other side)) and then a couple of clips on the top.

You need to work from the bottom up, releasing the clips from the keypad heading towards the screen. Do each side at the same time, then once you've removed all the clips up to the top of the case, the last two (on the top edge) will just pull out.

I don't know about spares availability, although at least one Nokia service centre I've spoken to thinks they can be ordered in.

p.s. Removing the plum part of the case is extremely complicated, as it contains both the main and sub assemblies of the phone. Do NOT try it unless you know exactly what you're doing!

So do you have to get to these clips through the back? Or can you remove the front fascia without first removing the back cover?
