I remember some people, especially heavy text message users had problems where their N91 sms was slow etc. Seems Nokia has an accelerator application now. It is on the N80 site http://europe.nokia.com/A4149142. I downloaded it to my N91 and ran it and it ran. It did not have any adverse effect . Im not sure if it sped up my sms but I suggest people who have this problem try it out and report back.
Ill watch for when it appears on the N91 site
