Camera Quality

hey,

i have a Nokia N73, but i think the quality of the pictures is quite poor, not even as good as the N80, which doesn't have the fancy camera features...

could it be the firmware? my phone is:

v2.0628.0.0.1
10-07-2006
RM-133
Nokia N73 (39.01)

is there a later firmware out...

any help much appreciated...

as far as i'm concerned the camera quality is amazing ! It even performs relatively well in poor lighting conditions.

May seem like a stupid suggestion but I should point out that for some reason the default setting for my phone was on the lowest picture quality (maybe because nokia are being stingey and wouldnt give away a decent sized memory card with the phone to store many high quality pictures on) MAY be worth checking the settings and moving them up to high. Your using the same firmware as me so its not a fault there. Could be a faulty handset i guess :frown:

Is not the general idea... N73 and K800i are considered the best cameras no phones out there. See if is your phone problem... or do a phone reset to origial conditions.

i'll give that a try (reset) but i am using top resolution...

at first i thought maybe it's because the screen isn't as good as the N80 but when transferring the pictures to my pc and looking at the same picture taken with n80 as n73, the n73 is rarely if ever better...
