after on/off phone, themes/wallpaper reset to default

hi there,
anyone here has this problem?

my N80, whenever i set a new/old theme or wallpaper, and after on & off the phone, it will goes back to default.. no new theme no wall paper...

any ways to solve this? thanks!~

Seems a bit weird. Never seen such behaviour myself.

Only with one theme or does it happen with other themes, too? Try several.

Built-in themes too, or only with what you've installed yourself? Try both kinds.

Installed in phone memory or the memory card? Try with both.

Operator-branded/-locked phone or not?

Phone firmware version?

Something happens to me with N91. Is a firmware problem. Do the firmware upgrade as is solved (or should be😉 ).

I dont know explain why... but this thing happens to me with N91. With foruns information, seems that a firmware upgrade resolve the things. I never try that, because I get rid myself of N91, because that is not the only problem, before do the upgrade.

oh ok. thanks!~

Actually, I had this happen earlier today.

it coincided with switching SIMs too, most odd.
Mine was using a 3rd-party anime theme and after it happened the theme had disappeared from the list available on my phone. Trying to reinstall it fails too. 😞

But your version of software are a problems. Do the firmware upgrade to 4.xx, because seems to improve the work with the phone.

oh ok. do u know how to format n80 phone.. not memory card...

rehtsemis wrote:oh ok. do u know how to format n80 phone.. not memory card...

Soft format: *#7370#; Hard format: Green + * + 3 and power on.
But that dont avoid the need of software upgrade.
Last version for N80: 4.0623.0.41.

i have this problem after i upgraded my FW to v4 ,even my font restore to origin after i changed it ,i tried to reflash it but nothing happened

i think its because of some app. we both installed on the memory card
did you install your theme on memory card or on phone memory ?

With N91, it happens even with themes from phone (from original software), and return to defaut theme.

i install both the setups and installation in the memory card...

so does it got to do with the firmware? cos i dunwan let my phone stay at Nokia too long, then i got no hp to use..

After restore... is not PCSuite, is some installed program. Try find wich one.

i got this problem before too, because of me set a passwrd for the memory card.
if u do so, try to remove the password n see.
