Access Point only searches WLAN

I have a Nokia N80 and I have a data package through T-mobile. I currently have my access point set to "user defined" (tmobile), but I used to have it set to "always ask". When I use the "always ask" setting on my phone, it only wants to search for WLAN connections. Before it used to give me a list: Tmobile, my Home WIFI and whatever else was in the default list.

When I try to use Opera mini or Google Maps the only access point available is WLAN even if I set it "user defined".

NOTE: I did trip the PUK code recently and I don't know if the issue with the access list coincided with the PUK code being tripped. I don't know what the PUK code is. The code provided to me by T-mobile did not work.

Please help!
