The skins/themes directory?

5 replies · 3,136 views · Started 16 September 2006

Hi, first post here.
I have a problem finding the folder in which the original themes are installed on my N73. I have looked for the pathway C or E:\system\skins..., but no luck so far.
Does anyone know where i can find the official N73 themes?

I have tried with the 3rd party file managers sExplorer and SysExplorer, but neither have managed to show the skins directory for me. Is this because of the programs or because there simply isn't a pathway like that?
These were the only file managers that I could find for S60 3rd edition.
I have understood that fExplorer is the best alternative. But is it availible for S60 3rd yet?

Thanks for replying!
Robert

What customization has S60 3rd Edition taken away, that you had/did previously, and do not have any longer? What, in your opinion, in regards to customization is "now very limited", and wasn't so previously? You can still get and install themes and ringtones, for example. You can change where things are in the phone menu. You can install and remove new apps. You can customize the active standby and standby screen keys. Etc.

What i meant was is that you cant get into any of the system folders which you could in other symbian devices.I cant change fonts,i cant move icons from one theme to another, apply new screensavers(might be able to,have'nt tried yet)......these are the sort've things i meant, the areas you stated are just the norm of series 60 to me.
