I tried to connect to T-mobile at starbucks canary wharf it didn't get connected, can detect the 11Mbs 802.11b signal connection but the page wont load.
G is backwards compatible with B
Yes you can use b - I'm still using an old 802.11b router at home and works fine.

i am currently installing wifi aeriels for consumers and we have a network backbone , so i want to be able to use my phone for viop on the network so i can communicate with the base , anyone any answers
i think this is the same as at my college.
i open web browser, it asks to connect, i select the college "infrastrcuture" wlan which is shown as public.
then when the web browser appears again, the screen is white and the loading bar is slowly filling but there is a 0k in the top right corner and nothing ever appears
