ive tried looking at different articles and forums, but couldnt find it, can anyone tell me if its possible and if yes HOW is it possible for me to upgrade my motorola M1000 from Symbian 7.0 to 8.0 and UIQ 2.1 to 3.0!? would appreacite it!

It is not possible (besides, UIQ 3.0 is based/dependent on Symbian OS 9.1, not 8).
Theoretically, Motorola could provide a firmware update based on UIQ 3.0, but I suspect they will have zero interest or incentive to do so.
Probably only a "handful" - relatively speaking - of M1000's were sold. No new ones are being made. Doing so just for existing users would be very costly with no return on that investement. Also, the hardware simply might not even be - and probably isn't - sufficient for supporting Symbian 9.
In other words, if you want UIQ 3, your only option today is to buy a Sony Ericsson device.
