Hello Friends, Please help my 6681.
I used to have 3230 with rsdv mmc 512mb, after i sell it. i change with 6681. And i use that 512mb visipro rsdvmmc which already installed some aplication and game (jar type). On 6681 that games wont appear.. so i deleted it via FExplore.
Because i still have the original file, i try to install back. but the application installer say: Replace 1.00 with 1.00? i choose yes, then save: i choose mem card. Save application data that exist? i choose no? (or even yes) then the Application installer say: System Error (-12).
Please anybody Can you help me. I just cannot install any game that i already install on that rsmmc. Even if on E/system/Midlet or E/System/Apps doesnt exist anymore.
(is it related to C/System/Data/Applications.dat ?? How about if i delete it and reboot the phone ??

Hi there.
When you install something on the MMC, not all the files are put on it, there are some of them which are installed in phone's memory. If you made a backup of your 3230 with PC Suite restore it on the 6681, the backup made via phone will not work. C:\System\Data\Applications.dat is the file which remembers the applications order in the menu. Try to remove the games whith the appl manager and then install them again on that 3230 if you still have it or on the 6681 otherwise (if they are visible as installed in appl manager).

Unfortunately i have sold my 3230, on application manager on 6681 not showing any of that game (jar type), But sis type works fine. On AppMan program, jar type didnt appear too.. Nothing seem trouble, but if i try to install the game i already install on 6681, App manager say: system eror (-12).
Any idea?? How about deleting Applications.dat and reboot the phone ??
Does my 6681 still remember all program that now works fine?

If you are sure that you deleted your games, then go to C or E:\System\Apps and delete all the directories which looks like this: [10182c0b]. Theese are the midlets. After this, delete the content of the C,E:\System\INSTALL\Registry, which I think stores the uninstall information. I don't know exactly what this is, but is very related with the Java apps. Last step: C,E:\System\MIDlets and delete all the dirs which are looking like the ones mentioned above. Do not delete the RMSProtectionFile (10KB). Hit a reboot, and you should be able to install your games again.

[SIZE="3"][FONT="Tahoma"]Hello Ratza.. 😊 Fortunately i have copied my mmc on computer, so i put back the old file to E/system/middlet and E/system/apps , then i open app manager, it shows all my java game (which corrupted, because if i hit the icon of that game, nothing happens) With my app manager manually i remove/delete each of them. Then i try to install back the jar game, IT WORKS !!!
I dont touch applications.dat or RMSprotection .
