To-Do Shortcuts?

I love my S60 phone but I have one simple thing that would make my life so much easier. My Blackberry's To-Do list was really nice... all it took to check something off was a press of the space bar. On S60 I have to go into a menu and scroll four items down to check it off. Who came up with that? The main function of a to-do list is to check things off... why make it so tedious to check things off? Any shortcuts? Thanks!

I dont know Blackberry devices. But with S60 You can have a standby screen and shortcuts on that standby screen, mor the shortcut key on most recent devices. Is that the answer?

Hey... thanks for the response. While I do see my to-dos on the standby screen, in the application there is no easy way to check them off. This may have changed in 3rd Edition but there isn't a fast way of checking off to-dos on my N70.
