Hi all
I talked with local CNSP and they said they take phones to their main buildings, where they have the flashers, and they can give me the phone 2 days later.
That's fine for me, but I need to know if they will put me a 4.xx firmware or not.
Should I explicitly ask them? Should I ask them a "Vodafone Live" firmware? Or what?

Why not ask what is their latest version?

ghostdog: here the girl in the store didn't know what was their latest revision, she just said "they download it from nokia" 😃 she has to send it in another city and to get it back in 1-2 days, I'd have to go in the other shop (far!) to check 😞

so i downloaded the 4.73 from

(thanks to 😊 ) and slped it on a cd and toke it to them and VWALA

by the way, does this release add "vodafone-live" menu entries, i.e. in wap services or in other places? I'd like NOT to have them, just the red profile and software updates :angel:

how to make the upgrade ?
Didos,you will need proper hardware (Nokia flash box) to do this.It cant be done via bluetooth or infrared.

red color pallete. that's all. well its worth to have it of course because very few people do. 8)
check in your phone Tools/settings/phone/display/color pallete
right now most firmware version only have green, blue and purple. 😃

dude, maybe you missed my reply in the other thread. but you could go to the main branch of Semicon (somewhere in Marcos Hi-way near Sta. Lucia). if you have warranty you get the upgrade for free. however, the last time i checked they upgrade only to 3.16, but that was a couple of months ago. try checking em out now and let me know if they have a higher version and will upgrade myself. 8)
