Is there a way to access the backup directory on a memory card? It doesn't appear in the file system. I'm looking for an easy way to transfer a copy of my backup via Bluetooth. (I'm on a Mac, which is why I'm not using the PC software Nokia bundles for backups.) Thanks!
Accessing backup directory through filesystem?
If you make a backup to the memory card, it is in \Backup\backup.arc on the memory card (not visible/shown by the built-in file manager).
Right... I understand where it is, just not how to access it so that I can transfer it to my computer via Bluetooth. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

You can't access it from the phone itslef because of PlatSec which prevents you from accessing system or sensible files. It would take forever to send that via bluetooth anyway since it's a rather large file. Connect the phone to your Mac using the USB cable, select "Data Transfer", the phone will show up as a USB drive then browse your phone's memory card using whatever file explorer you've got on your Mac.
Thanks! That works just fine. I assumed when I couldn't see the file using the Bluetooth file browser I wouldn't be able to see it over USB either. It still seems odd to me that it's hidden to the Mac in one instance but not in the other, but I guess that's just how the phone is designed. Thanks again.
