Major problem with my dead/dying N80

Hi all this might take a while
I went to the big smoke (London) on Friday phone working fine no problems(ish). Come back to hotel which has wifi in all the rooms, I tried to put an alarm on my phone for the next day press the done button nothing happened, so I pressed it again. Now I have 10 alarms for the same time checked one then decided to delete the rest Thats when the phone decided to have a nervous brake down. It would come off the calendar I left it for 30 mins, so I gave it a hard reset it looked ok but there where no calendar dates at all, checked them out they had all gone and the phone froze. Another hard restart, the same thing happened so I decided to leave it and have a look in the morning. I tried to ring my husband but nothing would work on the phone, another hard reset. During the morning 8-12.30 if I needed to ring anyone I had to take the battery and the sim card out. The battery only lasted 4.5 hours (short even for the N80). :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

So be warned what might happen if your calendar miss behaves.

I've just got home so I will be ringing Orange in the morning to see what thy suggest.

P.S. Orange no longer sells the N80 I wonder why :con?

yeah i killed my n80 from the callander in a similar way and it lost all the dates then would freeze, turn it off and on and it would be ok (apart from the missing dates) then freeze after a few mins. did a reformat (is this the same as hard reset?) -did it by "holding the number 3 button, the * button and the green call button" when switching on the phone (and keeping pressed untill it asked for location). its been fine since.
