Blogging software? (especially wordpress support)

6 replies · 3,184 views · Started 24 September 2006

Hi,

I'm looking for some blogging software for the N80 (i.e. S60 3rd edition) that supports Wordpress. Something that will allow offline composing with text and photos and then submit without having to muck about with the web browser, thus keeping the data to a minimum (i.e. just the post to the blog).

I could set up the email service on my blog but it's limited to text and has little security.

So far I've looked at Azure but it doesn't seem to support Wordpress (certainly doesn't work when I try) and Picoblogger which doesn't support the N80.

Guys,
I am using Lifeblog thru Flickrs.com to post directly to my Wordpress

I just compose the post, images included and then I send it to Flicker and Flicker post it to my wordpress blog.

It works like a dream

You can post new articles and pictures to Wordpress via Flickr? I knew I could send posts to my blog, and pictures to Flickr but didn't realise I could get them combined. I've always tripped over when trying to send pics, as Wordpress has a funny way of handling pictues in its posts. How have you set up Flickr?

I am using the Postie plugin for wordpress, works great, just send an e-mail with attachments (photos, movies etc) and within 15min (as i set wordpress to check every 15 min) its online.

That's what I do, too. I just set http://www.flickr.com up so that when I send a photo and blog entry to a certain email address, it posts to flickr AND my blog at the same time.

I also use the Shozu application on my phone so that I can send the photo on to additional places without paying for another upload. http://www.Shozu.com
