hi
Everytime i take out the memory in nokia 6630 and insert it back, my theme and folder settings will initiate which is normal. I want to know if there is any application that can save these settings.
thanks

This means that you installed you theme on the MMC. Install it on the phone memory to avoid this issue.

hi
yes you are right but what about saving my applications in specific folders and not in the root?

I'm not sure I undestood your question. You mean your menu is messed up? The order is different after getting out the MMC? Give me some details.

thanks for your replies
you see, i've arranged my installed apps in such a way like "smart movie" is in media folder "quick sheet and quick word" are in office folder,... but after re-insertion, they are all in root and i have to move each in its folder.
Is it clear now?

OK, I was not sure this was the issue 😉 Well, you have to either backup on the MMC/restore from it when you want to eject it - nasty solution, takes too much time but is better, or just copy the file C:\System\Data\Applications.dat somewhere on C or E drive. Eject the MMC and when you get it back in the phone, wait for your menu to load all the apps and copy the file back to C:\System\Data\ It will ask for overwrite. Choose yes, nothing happens if you accidentaly delete it because it is generated again and again.

The best option would be to wait for around a minute or so before enetring the menu after putting back the MMC. Your menu should appear like it was and not all messed. I had this issue on my previous 3230. Try to enter menu and don't scroll it until all items are displayed.
