I have downloaded the Reaper and followed the guides step by step to download all the files needed for upgrade, when I open phoniex though, it flashes up the pop up screen, then chugs away for a bit, then Windows XP reports the app has encountered and error and had to close.

I experienced similar problems on my Dell Dual Core Desktop PC with Windows XP Media Center edition, and never got Phoenix to work, eventually I gave up.
Fortunately Poenix works fine on my Pemtium-M laptop which is single core and with Windows XP Pro.
I don't know if this is helpful or not, what type of CPU and O/S are you using?

Hi, Thanks for the reply, Im using a HP/Compaq NX5000 laptop.
Looks like im going to have to try another PC or take it to a 02 Shop
u must have nokia pc suite uninstalled as well as the connectivity drivers for phoenix to work!!!
