Is there anyway of using the USB PC cable with an N80 to gain access to your PC's broadband connection. I know this happens in reverse, where your computer can use the Internet connection from your phone.
But when I am at home and I want to get some updates for my phone, such as for Tomtom, then I would rather use my home broadband connection, and since I do not have a Wireless network as yet, there must be some way to use the connection I already have? Isn't there?
Cheers

That feature is called IP passthrough and is only supported on E-series phones as far as i know (and unless you've got a router in front of your broadband connection, chances are that even IP passthrough wouldn't work).
The simplest solution would be to get a wireless router. If your broadband modem is ethernet, then you can probably find a decent wireless router for 30 or less. If you've got one of those USB modems then you'll need to get wireless router with built-in ADSL modem which is going to cost you 50-60 at least.
if you dont fancy going for a router, you should be able to just buy a wireless usb adaptor for your computer set it up adhoc and share the internet conection -but from experience this is problematic and trickier to set up than a router, a wireless router will give you better rang (note the wireless range of the n80 is already less than that of a laptop).
i set up my home computer like this years back as wireless routers were expensive, when i got round to putting the router in i regretted ever doing it the other way! -a router is more stable, plus you can then acces the internet when the computer is off! -which is more likely going to be when you are going to use the phone to browse!

mRouter used provide this functionality with my old N70. I don't know if it works with the N80 or not, but cannot see why it wouldn't.
