Im stuck with the voicemail sign on my phone, there are no voicemail waiting n I have tried canceling divert option, tried a diff sim on my n80, just cant get rid of that. anyone having the same problem after the firmware update? any tips?

it may be a problem that your network should be able to solve.
when i worked for t-mobile's custoemrs services, this problem came through three or four times and it could only be solved by our techies refreshing your profile on the network, nothing to do with the handset.
however, i don't know why it is still there when you've put another SIM in the phone.
worth a bash phoning your network provider.

I have NO idea how to get rid of this icon.
When I do actually have Voicemail the second circle becomes solid, yet when there's nothing (not even any saved messages) the icon is present with one of the circles solid.
Why?!
(I'm on Orange too, by the way).

I didn't notice this till now. when voicemail waiting its 
and at all other times its like this
I tried the sim on another phone and the voicemail icon apeared again, called the phone and left a voicemail, listened to it and deleted it, the Icon's gone, put the sim back on the n80 and and the icon disapeared 😊
another of fixing it is to get someone to leave you a short voice mail, then call 123 to pick it up. press 1 to listen then press 3 to delete.. I tend to stay on the line until the icon disappears then hang up..
