Yeah it's very nice indeed😊
Only thing is that the res is only QVGA(240x320) and screen is huge (2.6 inches). That means the screen will look pixelated. I dont think I can go back to a screen that is less than HVGA(352x416)😊

well, I heard that the N81 is expected.Rumor has it that it will have 10gb hard drive, 3.5 stereo jack, 3d speakers, and 3.2 mp camera(not sure if it has autofocus).

352x416 is "double" from original S60 176x208 resolution (= four times the number of pixels). HVGA is "half-height VGA" = 640x240 (with VGA being 640x480).

Thanks for clarifying.
I guess my thoughts on HVGA means Half VGA. Since 352x416 is 146432 pixels, so VGA(640x480) = 307200/ 146432 = 2.097. Which means 352x416 is roughly half the pixel amount of 640x480. Therefore I just called it HVGA even though is not 'technically' correct.

Wow, that's quite a phone! I've only had my N80 for 5 days, so my love affair w/ the N80 is still in full swing. 😊 Guess I'd better start a piggy bank for theN95! 😊

Considering the trouble O2 had with it's stock of N91's with hard drives, and the N80's shocking battery life, I am not sure if the spec of the N81 is good or bad. lol.
😮

Seriously though, the only thing I don't like about the N95 is that once again Nokia have changed the memory card type, which means my 2Gb Mini-SD cant be re-used.
😞

Exactly. Switching to N95 would mean you would lose a whole lot of resolution in a too big area. Also, N95 has no mobile tv anyway. Mobile tv will be big in 2007. My next phone will have mobile tv. I'm more looking for a successor to N92. Hopefully, it will have HSDPA and GPS as well. (It sucks if I can't get these three features in one single phone within the next year.)

I think I'd trust Nokia's specs more than a news site. 😉

Seems to depend on which Nokia page you visit. (see below).
I think the N95 is definitly going to use the MicroSD card system.

Despite this I can't wait to get my hands on one - Q1 2007 I hope!

Memory Functions
• Up to 160 MB* internal dynamic memory for messages, ringing tones, images, video clips, calendar notes, to-do list and applications
• Expandable memory: 128 MB microSD card**
• Memory card slot supporting up to 2 GB microSD memory cards

It gonna be... is not a great improvement... all stuff inside is a tested one already on other devices.

And it's not exactly a small downgrade from 416x356 to 320x240! It shows when surfing the web. I recently read about that some company had succeeded in putting 640x480 in small screens. N95 is definitely a step in the wrong direction.

Okay hold on.
Regarding GPS... does that mean the N95 has a built in GPS module? Or did they just install some sort of GPS software that you need to buy a module for separately?
