E61 email problems (IMAP)

Hello!

I recently started to use E61's in work and there are several problems with E-mail.

We have company Lotus Domino server (6.5.3) and I want to use E61 for users on trips to have access to the E-mails. I configured 3x E61 for start to check how it works and met serious problems with E-mail.

- 3x E61 configured and working flowlessly

- 2 days later E61#1 one of them stopped to synchronize E-mails (not recieving headers) - strange is that in the server log I can see that device is connected - but no getting any updates... after I got the device in my hand I was only able to say that everything is OK - no settings changed or wrong.... but it is not working..... when I created new email box with SAME settings - it is working without problems (but for how long?)

- at the same day in E61#2 (actually the one Iam using) defined E-mail box disapeared - in very strange way:
mail box is working (recieving) and is accesable via E-mail key,and via main active screen BUT disapeared under messaging - so it is impossible to chance any settings...

- today I got message from owner of the E61#3 whom is currently in USA that it is not downloading E-mails (and in server log I can see hes connections) - so it seems to be same issue as #1 ....

Can someone help me with this?

Also for some weird reason - I cannot subscribe to any different folder then Inbox .... (but it is minor problem comparesd to abovesaid)

Wierd problems.

A reboot is defintely worth trying, but beyond that I can't help as I dont have experience with these systems.

I've had a very similar problem. The inital IMAP connection is fine and new email is pushed to my Nokia N50 but after a while (10-20min) the connection to the server is either lost or even if the 'connected' symbol is still present the email functionality totally crashes.

It would be great to know when a new firmware release will come out that addresses this problem.

So far i did not encountered any problem in imap mails. My .mac mail are using imap protocol and working fine for my side.

My working email too, also using imap, did not hit any problem too.

It would help if you could post your firmware versions and if the devices are branded or not.

Using 'vanilla' IMAP servers; I have not faced any issues with having multiple accounts setup on the E61 (at one point I had 5 accounts setup for testing).

The only thing I can think of that could be causing this is IMAP Idle, but since I don't have my E61 right now, I can't confirm this.

It is a strange problem though.
