Hi all,
Can anyone help me out with a problem with the phone keys on the P910i ?
They just don't work, none of them. However, the the "qwerty" keyboard inside the flip works fine, although occasionally even this can give funny inputs from time to time.
I am staying for a few months in a country where the humidity is high, but previously had no problem with the phone back in England.
Has anyone else had this fault, and is there an easy way to solve it?
Many thanks.
Mark.
P.S, is there also a decent video player for this phone to download? 🙄
I have exactly the same problem with my 910i. My technician replace the entire circuit for the keypad and all works well now. Yes it is the moisture that cause the circuit to give trouble.

I'm having the same problem, but thought it was because I'd cracked the keyboard. I've installed a new one and no change - which circuits needed repairing? Is it somethig inside the phone?
Thanks
D
Hmmm, interesting!
I do have a spare complete keyboard flip back home. I was hoping it might be curable by a software reset I could do here?
But if the moisture is a proven problem, are the faulty circuits inside the flip, or are they inside the main unit?
Many thanks,
Mark.
It could be that I bought a bad keyboard, as it's a 2nd hand from ebay. I'm sure it's not, as the problems are identical when either board is attached.....you never know though....I could unlucky!
I've tried leaving the 910 cold for 48 hours (ie no battery) but that didn't help. I may try a mater reset......can't help thinking it's mechanicle/electrical rather than software though. I may just leave it....the jog wheel has come into it's own!
