Choosing which lens to use and other interesting questions...

Hey, folks,

Anyone know any answers to the following questions?

  • How can I use the main (optical zoom) lens and see myself in the monitor at the same time? I've tried turning the monitor round into a position where I can see it, but when I do that, the phone switches to the "crappy" inside camera. There's got to be a way to manually choose which lens to use, so how do I do it?
  • Is there anyway I can give Realplayer automatic permission to connect to WAP without being asked every time?
  • On Realplayer again, how can I get to to switch to full-screen automatically?
  • How do I get the keys on the phone to lock automatically when I close the flap without pressing another button, then unlock when I open the phone?
  • ...I think that's it! 😊

There's gotta be some positive answers to these questions - I can't believe for one moment that Nokia were dumb enough not to enable me to use the phone in the way I wanna!?

Cheers, in advance!

i have exactly the same question

is there not anyway to use the main camera anytime, instead of having to put it in that particular flip sideways handheld mode.
I want to be able to use it in any mode. there must be a way to bypass this surely? I presume someone somewhere is working on a software that'll allow the main camera to be used in any position?

It is definately possible to use the camera in any position as that is the camera the barcode scanner uses. Why they thought forcing different cameras on us was a good idea i'll never know.

With Zensis Photorite SP you can use the main camera with the display twisted any way you like. Also, the galery-function of Photorite is much better then the Nokia-galery. It's not free software, but worth it imo.
