Newbie to N80!!!

Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to drop a line and say Hi. I just received an N80 yesterday for my birthday from my wife. I really love the phone. But I have a few questions for you gurus out there:

1. I've downloaded a few new themes to my N80 (phone mem). But how do I get rid of the ones I don't want? There's no option to delete any of the themes. Is there something I'm missing?

2. Also, when I download music into my phone, the music player states that there are no tracks on my phone. I have to go to gallery -> tracks to choose the song I want to play. I would think that the music player would show a song once I chose "music player" like my wife's N70. Am I wrong?

That's pretty much it for now. Please let me know if anyone has figured any of these problems out. Thanks so much.

Yo Dee-mo, wellcome to da forum 😊

Wel to delete a theme just follow this 😉

menu - Tools - App. mgr- Then look for the name of the theme u want to delete and just push the C key and it will ask u if u want to delet it and you just push yes button

and to get all ur music on ur player just do the following

menu - music player - options - music library - options - update music library

then u will get all ur music on ur music player, every time u add/delete music to the phone u gotta do this

i hope this helps, if u have more questions, shoot em.

Cheers 😃

Hey Dx,

Thanks for getting back to me. Totally appreciate it. But when I check my app. mgr., it doesn't show the theme that I want to delete (on my phone mem.). It only shows the themes that are on my mem. card. Oh well. I guess I'll just have to live w/ it. Thanks for the help tho.

there will definately be a way of deleting it mate (unless its a preinstalled one), if all else fails use y browser to find it in your system folder
