Hello all.
Title says it all really - is anyone running Blackberry Connect (for BES)on an E70 with Vodafone in the UK ?
Vodafone claim they do not and will not support this and there is no client for vodafone available on the Nokia site.
About to upgrade my handset and rally want the E70, but may be froeced into the E61 because of this.

This has been driving me nuts too. I have updated to the latest firmware 2.0618.07.10 and I still can't get this to work with my corporate BES. I have pretty much installed all of the different SISX files on
http://www.businesssoftware.nokia.com/blackberry.php
without any luck. I have given up and installed Activesync for E-series which appears to work but I have to wait for the IT department to buy a TyTyn and test the settings before they will pass me my corporate Exchange server settings (unless someone knows how to reverse engineer this 😊 ).
I'm not sure why Blackberry and Vodafone won't allow the SISX file to work for the E70 but will allow the E61 to work. Really irritating.

I got the E70 to work with Vodafone and my BES.
There is a new SISX file for the E70. Go to the Nokia Business Software site for Blackberry downloads. Note you have to upgrade your firmware to 2.0618.07.10
Select Region: "Asia", Operator: "Other", Model: "E70"
Download the "Nokia S60PR2....SISX" file and the Nokia Desktop Software
Follow the instructions and it works with BES. Vodafone will not support the BIS so you need to have the corporate server.
