Webviewer...[b]HELP[/b]!!!!

Connect through your GPRS internet connection. Be sure to have the IP set to 0.0.0.0 (don't change it to 0.0.0.0 in advanced menu though)

but my company gave me their gprs settings over a smart message and the gateway IP address they gave me was "104.42.15" should i change it to 0.0.0.0 ???

Simple.
Copy the settings to a new one and have the IP as 0.0.0.0
Then use your new one for Webviwer and your old one for WAP.

You could always try it with a regular ISPs dialup account, but as mentioned previously the IP settings for this kind of access also have to be 0.0.0.0

I use Irda to connect my 7650 over the cable connection on my pc, I am able to recieve my mails, but webviewer and WAP services don't work, I am behind a proxy which i use to connect through the net...is there a way to make it work? (should i leave gateway IP 0.0.0.0 even if i am behind a proxy?)

Is it impossible to use reqwireless webviewer via a wap connection?

I guess it's a torture to read/write mails and browsing the web on 7650, and also trying not to interrupt the Ir beam! :roll:
My suggestion is to use bluetooth, for two reasons: First, you will get rid of the limitations of Ir (line of sight, low speed 115 kbps) and you will gain all BT benefits: no need of LOS and higher speed (784 kbps).
Second, and most important to you, BT adapters/dongles are acting like an Ethernet adapter card, as this you have in your PC. They are using IP etc, and so, you will solve the proxy issue (you will need to do some configuration).

Hello all. I have been having the same problems as most people connecting to my pc over BT with webviewer. Finally found the problem: NORTON INTERNET SECURITY 2003!!! Switch it off, and the connection works perfectly. (Assuming access point set up with IP = 0.0.0.0.).

Now using the DSL connection on my PC to surf on my 7650 AT LAST!

Whenever I run the application that I installed into the new batch of nokia 7650 that my company just bought in, I always get the error " App closed jes-xx-ConnectionsEventServer@1KERN-EXEC 3 " . This application was running fine in the previous batch of nokia 7650 and the same access point setting was done as below:

go to Tools > Settings > Connection Settings > Access points > Options and click New Access Point, Use default settings > Connection Name "MobileNet" ,Access point Name set to "MobileNet"> Back

Any idea to solve this problem? Is it due to the OS that installed in the new batch of nokia 7650 has been changed or enhanced??

Veedy0786 WebViewer will only run trhu an internet connection (not wap)...
