also first search these forums if you have a question first because your problem has probably been discussed already..I know your question has been asked and discussed several times here before and all answers you will find there...it will save you time

that spot on program wont light up the back flash for some reason, any suggestions? running latest fw.

SpotOn works ok on my n80, but its about as bright as a damp candle, you have to just use the screen light. 😞

Spoton doesn't illuminate the flash to max brightness.
Compare with flash when photographing.
I think SpotOn's developers need to rewrite it PROPERLY.

i suspect that you cant leave the led on full brightness, if that if you did it will damage it. its normal (and a correct practice) to put two much currant through an led to make it brighter as long as its only on for a short time. i suspect this has been done on the n80,

I suspect that this is incorrect.
Why ?
My SE W800i has a native app which turns the flash on at full whack for as long as you want.
