😎 Hi guys is there any truth that there will be a 4GB miniSd for the N80 sometime soon (now that is a relative term if I ever heard one:redface: ) I read somewhere that the same new 4GB stick developed for the N95 will be compatable with our own mobile. Really hope it is legit as that would make me one happy dude😉
N80 and loving it
4gb (and higher) miniSDs have been in the works since late 2005.
SanDisk have just announced their 4Gb MiniSD and have started releasing to manufacturers: source.
Note that a firmware upgrade will be required before cards of more than 2GB will be usable with the N80.
Any 4GB miniSDs you find floating around on eBay are fakes / compressed cards that WILL fail to work correctly.
*EDIT* I took a quick look on eBay and found 12 fake 4gb miniSDs being sold by one American seller. I've notified eBay accordingly..
