RealMedia and other formats. Settings Discussion - E60

I am busy experimenting with various real media (*.rm) creation tools.
There is no information regarding this readily avilable on the net, so I have started this thread.

My aim is to make use of the beautiful screen on my Nokia E60 to play movies and other assorted media.

I am using:
Helix Mobile Producer
Quick Time 7 Pro (To create .3GP files to compare with .rm)
Pocket Video Maker - Symbian Edition.

Whilst each of these is supposedly designed for symbian, it is very hard to figure out the optimum settings. With such a high resolution on the E60, its a pity I can't make clips which match that resolution.

i am also having trouble getting it to play in true 'full screen', with a border around the edge no matter what i try! This is something I don't remember happening whilst streaming realmedia via vodafione 3g services.

Anyways, Ill continue experimenting and post the settings I believe are 'optimum' for this device.

I'd love to hear some feedback and opinions.

Your best bet is to create MP4 files in Quicktime Pro (plenty of settings to tweak there, too!) and then use 'Play in full screen' from RealPlayer's menu. With stereo sound, and using headphones, it's very immersive.
