because the other one wasn't free, I went out and found a new free one.
but since some people weren't able to connect we need to know how many of u can't 😊
if you get "to many users in this connection class" or things like this then you are connected but the server is full
works with IE
not with Opera 😞
anyways I use mIRC 😃

Ty 😉
Works fine in Mozilla 1.1 with the latest Sun JVM (not the sh!te M$ version) installed on windoze, dunno about IE as I don't have it installed for obvious reasons.
Can not make it with the GOV network's firewall.. it's seem to block the application.. :x
The chat.blueyonder.co.uk site is'nt working with me, tried it over and over, i keep getting the same message. Posted it before.
I'm trying out something else. When all fails, you'll find me back here!
I'm back here already 😃
Nothing on IE is working, my vote is has been casted. 😃

You don't count 😛 you have a firewall 😊
oh.. no wonder! That was the thing all along 😃
So what else can i do 😊
I've got a firewall and a NAT and it still works.....
Maybe we should look at the obvious first point of failing.... IE
I can use it in IE, but I cannot connect 😞 (this seems to be a problem with our network settings at work...) At least MSN Messenger works! 😉
MSN works fine here, but we can't make a big conversation in MSN, only allows a maximum of (what? 5 people?) yeah i guess five. But there is a trick of making more than five work 😃 I did it and it works quite well. But you guys aren't gonna use messenger after all this talk about IRC! So there has to be a way to make it work. For all us poor people that can't make it so 😞
easiest way to check if your firewall allows it:
type in (dos window or shell )
telnet irc.pi.be 6667
if you get response you're firewall is configged as it should and normally mIRC and applet should work.
It replied that it's not reachable, that means i'm hopeless 😃
After a long time thinking about it, it loaded. 😃
