I have the US E62 and Tomtom 6.010
TomTom runs great, but when it starts the Backlight turns off and I cant seem to get it to turn back on in TomTom. Makes it hard to see sometimes. Maybe a patch will fix someday.

If I start Tomtom it immediately starts with the back-light turnned off.
But if I just let it sit until the screen saver turns on. then activate/wake it up the back-light turns on and stays on.
I tried it and couldn't replicate, here's photos of what the screen looks like with the backlight off, and then on. The "on" situation only lasts about 4 seconds from using S60SpotOn, but the cycles back off.
Gotta find a way around this.

1>Start TT
2> Goto Backlight prefs.
3> Set it to "When not charging" and click done. Unplug charger if it was plugged in.
4> Now wait for the blacklight to shutoff and wait a little more, for the screen saver to activate (The one with the date and time).
5> Once the screen saver activates move the joystick, TT should now come back with the backlight fully on.
6> go back and set Backlight prefs. too what ever you want.
7> It seems you need to do this every time you start TT.
No need for "Spoton"
