quickoffice - how do i use it?

Hi. Just got an N80 and it's got quickoffice on it. all i want ot do is have my uni timetable one the phone, but i don't understand how to transfer the document over. when i try copy it to the documents folder it says access denied. what format is the file mean to be in? the quickoffice website says you're meant to go to the quickoffice menu in excel and click save as.. but i don't have any mention of quickoffice on my pc.

EDIT - ok i managed to get it to work (using data transfer mode instead of pc suite mode) but now i have another problem. All information regarding bold text, borders and merged cells is ignored by quickoffice. normally i wouldn't mind but this is a timetable and without these things it makes it extremely difficult ot read it! is there anything i'm doing wrong?

Not sure why you're experiencing those formating problems, as my spreadsheets and Word docs transfer and are viewable as saved. Are you sure they are saved as true XLS files, as maybe the problem is there.

k turns out the bold does work i just didn't see it.

but i'm still having trouble with all the borders and all the merged cells. I've saved the files as excel 97-2003 workbook (.xls), and microsoft excel 5.0 workbook (xls) but it still doesn't work.

I've tried saving through excel 2003 and excel 2007 beta, still no difference.

coloured cells show fine, just there's no border.

which quickoffice are you using? i'm using the one that came on the phone wth firmware v.4. i don't know if it's free though, maybe this is juust limited functionality of the trial or demo version?
