hi guys could u tell me if at the moment there is a solution to fix the performances of the radio, coz i live in london end the reception is not that good and keeps switching from mono t stereo.
does the new firmware fix it? if yes with a vodafone where can i go ?
n73 radio
For me it works well. Pay attention to headset, because is the antenna.
The radio is pretty appaling, isn't it! (I live in London too, so know what you mean)
I suspect the only fix will be in the shape of a future firmware, but if certain rumours are to be believed, this may be at least a month off yet...
its alright with these firmware updates but ive always been put off with having them done as it totally ruins your files and settings!
hi bradfordlad, as i told u before i have a vodafone n73, where can i upgrade the firmware ? in nokia shops or mobile phones ones?

That's what the backup / restore functions are for within the "Memory" application.
I have this problem with the reception on the N73 radio as well ... I also live in London. Not a problem with the antenna because I've tried it with a different set of headphones and it's the same.
It's really annoying when it keeps switching back and forth from mono to stereo ... and there's not even any way to set it permanently onto mono.
My previous sony e. phone had much better reception.
I was wondering whether it's a problem with my handset or common to all N73s.
Has anyone established whether a firmware upgrade solves this problem?
I strongly suspect a firmware upgrade will fix the issues.
Nokia had a similar problem with the N70 when it was released, and a new firmware fixed it on that handset.
