Hey does anyone know if there is software for the n73 where u can play songs for the alarm clock instead of the default list?

Also the same for msgs

I think you can do that. Just copy your file (MP3, AAC) to \sounds folder of the memory card. You should be able to select it as alarm tone for your Clock.

You don�t need a special software for that, the original alarm from phone can handle that.

This is a nice improvement of the S60, because on the S40 series (like 6230) if you have alot of mp3's they will all appear in the ringtone list and you'll waste some time to find the appropriate one for you. In the S60 series you put on the sounds folder the ringtones/audio clips and only theese can be selected as a ringtone.

For example I have around 240 mp3's on my MMC. Imagine what will happen to see this list as ringtones in one profile when you want to choose one of them!
