Yes, This Maps Online looks really good.

My only concerns are

1. Cost of Ownership On top of the cost to purchase the product, there's the cost of downloading new maps for each new route

2. Will downloaded maps stay in a cache area so that I won't have to keep downloading new maps?

3. Will there be an option to download and store 'current' maps with updates being downloaded as necessary?

4. Maybe a PC client to download maps? This way, I could use my cheaper landline connection to place routes/maps on my communicator.

5. I hope they've gotten rid of those blasted 'Unnamed Local Roads'! I got stuck in the middle of rural mid Wales with and the only options I had were to take unnamed local roads! I almost threw my machine out the window User posted image!

Having tried it tonight, I must say that I am quite impressed with the speed. I thought I'd be spending five minutes waiting for routes to be planned, but they were ready in seconds (nice GUI as well).

The problem is that I do most of my travelling at Peak Rate times (as far as my mobile is concerned) so, to make my purc hase a certainty, they're going to have to make the maps downloadable via PC.

If they don't I'll err a little longer. I have a list with so many things I want to get (some really neat software coming out at the moment), but not enough money to go around it all (Active Desk, Maps Online, Extended Printers, Extended Messaging... the list is endless)!
