REMEMBER its always a good idea to search a forum before posting a question..it has probably already been asked..

So why are you in the N80 forum? 😎

Anyway, it's been said before, if you need Wi-Fi get the N80 otherwise get the N73.

Also, if you need the higher screen resolution, N80 is your choice. (For surfing the web 416 x 352 is unbeatable. N73 has 320 x 240.)

And better battery - N73... If only one could have, better battery, screen resolution and dimension, Wi-Fi, Good Camera, etc, etc...

wait till x-mas and get the n95!!!!

Ignoring the camera and connectivity specs, can anyone comment on the relative ease of text entry using each phones keypad.

The N73's keypad looks too small for large adult hands to enter text - has anyone used both and can offer an opinion.

cheers

I do find that the N80 keyboard is a little too small to text comfortably...but as with everything you adapt somwhat...also I have a blutooth keyboard at home and at work so I tend to use that with my N80 when I can 😊..makes life much easier .

Not had experience with the N73

But in addition..I would now NEVER EVER buy another phone unless it had wifi...I use it everyday and its so usefull to me...
you will soon hear people saying "how did I use to manage without wifi on my phone" same as they say " how did we manage before mobile phones" or " how did we manage before the internet" ...

That still wont give you the higher screen resolution of the N80. Besides, the N95 will earliest be here first quarter 2007.

But, according with mobilereview.com, N95 have a battery for moderate use, between 14-16h, and with heavy use, between 7-8h!!!
Is not that one, the best one... And is need to see RAM behavior, because if is like N80 or N73, better choose an N70.

Hmm - I thought that the N80 might be better. I've handled an N73 in Carphone Warehouse and that seems piddly. I might have to see if I can blag an N93 - that looks like a well spaced keyboard.

If I return to S60 from UIQ (P900) I'm going to have to give up my touchscreen so data entry will be crucial. I've even dug out my old 3650 to practice on 😃

Much will depend on what I can blag out of Vodafone on upgrade - I know that an N73 is on the cards but I haven't checked on the others on my shortlist (and they don't know about the N93 yet).

I'm guessing that a P990 will not be an option (or at least not a free one - perhaps if I re-contract both of our phones I'll get one good upgrade - my wife is happy with her SE K600)

Dont get me wrong, its not impossible...just a little uncomfortable..I find I have to press the keys on the right of the keypad with my fingernails also...but I think this is just my keypad because my friends is a little easier...that may be one reason that I find it a little uncomfortable...

Best to go try yourself I guess in phone shop.

personally I wouldnt exchange my N80 for any other phone on the market at the moment...but will have a good look at the N95 when that is available..
