Hi all,i hav takn N70 n my firmware is V 5.0616.2.0.3
wen i reciev a msg n try openin it,it takes atlst 6-7 seconds to display the message.
i showd it in the Nokia care n they say there is no problem with the handset.
Is it basically slow in N70 or problm with my hndset??
Evn the gallery opens slowly n saving a clicked photo takes almst 30 secs to display in the gallery..
Any idea how 2 rectify this problm??

Hard to tell. No problem with Nokia Service... Try reset the phone to factory settings, and see if the problem is provoced by some installation.

That's the way it works. It doesn't get any faster!

Depends if you've already accessed your gallery since the phone was first switched on. From shooting to gallery appearance = 30 secs from first use but subseqent uses is half that.

Messages are slow on my N70 too. The same were on my old 3230 and my brother's 6670 and 6630. Symbian has a distinct app for every item from the menu so it's obvious that it needs some time to load.

As for the Gallery... what can I say? I am not using it.

trid resetin 2 factry settings, but no use.heard that its basically slow while openin the msg inbox.ani software 2 acceralte the speed..as far as the firmware version, this (V 5.0616.2.0.3) is the latest.ani idea any new versions hav come up??

Can you tell me if you know what is a .db, .dat, and .ini file??? why are those files on my c.p. has a type of audio instead of unknown and when i try opening it, it says error?

is there any problem with my fone???

It was not like that before....

the problem could be a slow memory card, if you have upgraded your memory card it can be slow. The acces speed on some of the cheaper memory cards causes applications to run slow example recording video in high quality will cause jitter in playback and recording on a fast access memory card the problem is present.

hope this helps
