Help needed on N80

Hello guys
Need help or explaination... I try to install a few software into N80, series 60v3 software off course.. but I got critical message " File not compatible with EPOC release 6".
I try to download a few os9.1 from various site which have people give feedback that their N80 have no problem installed it. but still failed. why? anybody can explain..
I've check with nokia firmware uploader, mine got the latest firmware.
help me please..

Do a soft format on N80 and try again.

It may be the the file is marked as being compatiable in correctly. I've seen this happen quite a few times. Given what you've said that seems unlikely though.

Otherwise I'm not sure. The error message suggest it a sis file issue. But make sure that is the error message as there may be another cause.

Try copying to the phone and installing from there (i.e. open the sis file in the phones File Manager)
