Dropped my phone :(

Hi all

I dropped my phone on the concrete outside today and have dinged it badly. 😡 Unhappy now and want to change the housing. Anyone know of any guides on how to do it? Is it very difficult? Found some housings on ebay but unsure as to how to proceed with swapping it.

Cheers in advance.

Removing the front cover is dead simple...

With the slider open, there's 2 screws on the back - although you should buy a special tool, Poundstretchers sell Jeweller's screwdriver sets, and one of the flat blade ones works fine with the odd Nokia screws.

Once the 2 screws have been removed, carefully prize the cover away from the case with your fingernail, starting at the bottom of the phone working your way up. The repeat for the other side.

Replacing the front cover is the same but just in reverse sequence.

Unfortunately I don't have any details how to remove the back cover, etc.

You don't do much P2P, do you ?
Don't worry about corrupt headers, just unzip it.
It's all there, I've just D/L'd myself.
