N73 Vs Qtek 8310

i just received my new n73 and as i have now the qtek 8310 for over a year i would like to compare them for the benefit of future owners:

photo quality: N73 3.2mpixels wins by far to the 1.3 of the qtek.
Screen resolution are the same 320 x240

The qtek and all smartphones with windows have a very smart trick to find contacts: you dont have to type 2 or 3 times the same keypad entry for say the letter l or s or v etc.. like on the nokia, but just the first letter once and it checks the contact database and intelegently finds the contact, very very good!
so i you are looking for 'john' you just type 5,6,4,6 only once and not: 5,6,6,6,4,4,6,6

Nowadays everyone is using outlook for windows, and if you have a busy schedule i find tasks a very usefull program. For the qtek there is program you can buy that is called powertasks that is exactly like the outlook tasks, with categories etc, such a thing does not exist for the symbian os yet, or i could find one. I mean exactly like the windows task for outlook.

Symbian used to be a very efficient os, fast, and did not use to freeze like the windows os, and that is what i thought untill the n73, which is so full of demanding programs, like the camera, graphics, etc that it is really very slow, freezes most of the time when you swich between the camera, preview etc, and most of the programs dont ever run because of low memory (like pdf which refuses to load a single file i have!.
Qtek is not much better i must admit, just a little bit faster.

Finally alltough the n73 is new there is no wireless (qtek has wireless) and no a2dp, qtek should have soon with the new firmware upgrade i hope.

all and all the windows smartphones give a fill of better quality and a more well thought off product, especially when they all follow the same specifications and work prety much like windows, so its ok when you are used to working with windows.

Of course the n73's camera feature is years ahead, there is not doupt about it, but that about all!
