Got the N80 on three but its plauged with problems, randomly restarting during mid conversation and other daft things you dont expect a phone to do.
I'm currently on v3.0618.0.2 23-05-2006.
The nokia updater strangely says there are no updates available. Anyone any idea when three are releasing a firmware update to Nokia?

Mine is at the service Centre in Blackpool getting it done as I type. The 3 version has been with NSCs for over two weeks I have just been too lazy to go and get it done.

If your software version is older than V4.0623.0.41 then you would need the handset reflashed to V4.0623.0.41. You can check your software version by typing *#0000# on the idle screen.
A reflash is carried out by a Nokia approved repair centre. We only sent handset to our repair centre when there is a fault and the reflash would be done for free under the manufacturer,s warranty.
The other option is to take the handset to your nearest Nokia repair centre. You would have to register with Club Nokia first. Use the internet address below to find out more;

I would suggest that you give them a call to find out if they would charge for the reflash and how much.

Did the Blackpool NSC flash your phone with the generic v4 firmware, or is there actually an "official" Three-branded v4 firmware? If so, what's the version number please?
