Gerneric E61 new firmware 2.xxx mp3 sound issue

Hello everyone,
i just recently updated my gerneric e61 firmware to the new 2.0618.06.05 for a few days and notice a problem in the mp3 music player. When i start the song it plays fine but i dont have any bass, but when i adjust the volume i get bass. It doesn't matter which ever equalizer setting i chose i wouldn't get bass until i adjust the volume. But i get bass only within that one song. After the song end and it advance to the next song i loose bass again. Until i adjust the volume again. Doesn't matter which button i use to change the volume as long as the volume get adjusted the bass comes back. I think this is a software issue not hardware.

perhaps i could use an aftermarket mp3 player software. Does anyone know how to fix this issue or know of an alternative mp3 player for the nokia e61.

i don't think its hardware, because before i upgraded the firmware to the v2 the sounds was fine. after i upgrade the bass was missing. i had to change the volume to get the bass.
i tried some other third party mp3 sotware but they're all the same. i think all mp3 player software uses the e61 sound driver. the sound driver that was installed with the new firmware.

someone mention that they use the hs-20 headset and the bass problem went away. so i just purchase a set from ebay to try out my self.
