Hey all hope all is well, what a great site and thanks to all the ppl that take the time to help.
Basically last night i thought what the hell and upgraded via pc....all was well untill i turned the phone on and saw "installing" then i got the message saying certain apps were untrusted and to install i had to go the application manager..............as soon as i do all i get is a blank screen?????????????
Whats happened what should i do? anyway of downgrading firware?
please help its completely done me in and the phone is annoying.not to mention that my backup of contacts never worked😡 😡 😡 😡 😡

yea i had exactly the same problems as you .. i couldnt restore my phone..i has a backup copy of my contacts on my mem card so i restored from their, also you will have to manually reinstall all the apps that you had on your phone before via pc suite.
It sorted me out..I know its a pain, but it worked.
You cant downgrade your firmware..there is no way.
If you just do as I say then your phone will be fine.
thanks for the quick reply cash much appreciated.....I have manged to format the mem card thats all i could do and installed an old backup...will do as u say and reinstall all the apps.didnt have many so its ok.
also were do you add your music files?whole albums i mean

I just copy mine into the music folder on my mem card, you then have to update the music library through the music player otherwise it wont see your new music..its in the settings somewhere ..
Again Thanks cash!!! your probably hating on me and if not this will seal the deal...........Just one more thing..how in the hell do u get the maps to work? or were can i get some that will😉
You can use the free one - Map24 Mobile, with maps from Navteq.

Haha .. no probs, but I cant help with the maps...never had the need to investigate them ...
i have same problem as you did hash, but I cant format my memory card!
