I just learnt that you can switch to silent mode by keeping the # key pressed for a couple of seconds.

I can keep the lens cap from getting lost by using the little cord supplied in the box (at least until it drives me up the wall getting in my way).

That odd little lead in the box is actually an adaptor enabling me to use older Nokia chargers on my N93.

The lens cap on the cord is also extremely helpful when you're filming cats, since it naturally dangles under the phone. They suddenly become keen animal actors. May also work on small children who haven't yet understood the concept of candy bribes, and who still apriciate dangeling lens caps.
